1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using NotchHub ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Software.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NotchHub ("we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the Software.
2. License Grant
2.1 What You Can Do
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install NotchHub on macOS devices you own or control
- Use NotchHub for personal, educational, or commercial purposes
- Use NotchHub at your workplace or on client projects
- Create content (videos, screenshots, articles) featuring NotchHub
2.2 What You Cannot Do
You may not:
- Redistribute, sell, lease, or sublicense NotchHub
- Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use NotchHub in any way that violates applicable laws
- Attempt to circumvent any licensing restrictions
- Claim that you created NotchHub or misrepresent your relationship with us
3. Intellectual Property

NotchHub and all associated intellectual property rights are and remain our exclusive property. This includes but is not limited to:
- The NotchHub name, logo, and branding
- All software code, algorithms, and technical implementations
- User interface designs and visual elements
- Documentation and marketing materials
3.2 Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about NotchHub, you grant us the right to use that feedback without any obligation to compensate you. We may incorporate your suggestions into future versions of the Software.
3.3 Open Source Components
NotchHub may include open source software components. These components are subject to their respective open source licenses, which can be found in the Software's acknowledgments section.
4. User Responsibilities
4.1 System Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring your system meets the minimum requirements:
- macOS 14 Sonoma or later
- Mac with Apple Silicon or Intel processor
- Sufficient storage space for the application
4.2 Proper Use
You agree to:
- Use NotchHub in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not interfere with or disrupt the Software's functionality
- Not use the Software to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Keep your macOS and NotchHub updated for security purposes
4.3 Third-Party Integrations
When using NotchHub with third-party services (Spotify, Slack, etc.), you are also bound by those services' terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or functionality.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
We expressly disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability
- Fitness for a particular purpose
- Non-infringement
- Accuracy or reliability of results
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
We do not warrant that NotchHub will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be error-free. You use the Software at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes but is not limited to:
- Loss of profits, revenue, or data
- Business interruption
- Cost of substitute software or services
- Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the Software
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the Software (which is $0 for the free version).
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NotchHub and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Software
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your violation of any applicable laws
8. Updates and Changes
8.1 Software Updates
We may release updates to NotchHub from time to time. These updates may include bug fixes, new features, or security patches. While updates are not mandatory, we recommend keeping the Software updated.
8.2 Terms Updates
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- For significant changes, we will notify users via in-app notification or email (if provided)
- Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
9. Termination
9.1 By You
You may terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling NotchHub and deleting all copies of the Software.
9.2 By Us
We may terminate or suspend your license immediately, without prior notice, if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- We are required to do so by law
- We decide to discontinue the Software (we'll provide reasonable notice)
9.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your license to use the Software ends immediately. Sections regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification survive termination.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Software shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
11. General Provisions
11.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and NotchHub regarding the Software.
11.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
11.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
11.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights without restriction.
