The Nupharo technology campus collaborates with major global partners, corporations, associations, scientific groups and individuals, as well as research and other technology centers in Central Europe.
Our objective is to develop activities such as conferences, workshops and working groups on the European and global level.
Be connected and cooperate
Nupharo places high priority on establishing the cooperation between and linking together academia, practical projects and Nupharo partners, as well as including our incubated companies in new projects. We realize that, in the Czech Republic, there is considerable know-how in the field of scientific institutions, specialized technological and development centers, which possess unique equipment and technologies worth hundreds of millions Euro. Most of those facilities focus on basic research, applied research, or unique testing processes.
Focus on practice
In contrast, Nupharo concentrates on the transfer of technology into practice – commercial production, testing, or trial manufacturing of prototypes, and their overall commercialization.
“There are many inventions and even more ideas in the world, but we are here to bring new technological products into real life. We expect to receive hundreds of project applications every year, from which we will select seven to ten for further incubation. To those, we will be providing a range of services including necessary investments.”
Board Member and DC Community
“I appreciate that the Nupharo project is located in a region with great economic and knowledge potential as well as high unemployment. I believe that Nupharo will provide a boost not only to the region and the Czech Republic, but also to cross-border and wider international cooperation.”
President, Technology Agency of the Czech Republic
THINK LOCALLY - ACT GLOBALLY
Nupharo collaborates with public institutions and major Czech and foreign universities, such as the University of Pittsburgh, the Delft University of Technology, the Indian Institute of Technology, the Czech Technical University, the Institute of Chemical Technology in Prague, and the Technical University of Liberec.
The local strategic academic partner is the Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem, with which Nupharo works on preparing an initial joint project.
Together with the University of Pittsburgh, Nupharo organised the first annual conference on the topic of DC technology in Prague last year. The conference was attended by more than eighty specialists from around the world.
